Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients efficiently and professionally.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and answer phone calls to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Take patient vitals, draw blood, and administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide clinical support to the healthcare team in various tasks.
• Maintain a collaborative relationship with staff to ensure quality patient care.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externships.
• Experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills with patients.
• Proficiency in computer skills necessary for documentation and clinic management.

Additional Skills & Requirements

• Medical Assistant Certification is strongly preferred.
• Occupational health experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment focused on health education and outreach.
• Availability to work during specified shifts, including some June and July dates.
• No security or onsite dispensing requirements.
• Experience with payroll deduction fee collection is a plus.
