At Swingtech, we're committed to excellence and long-term success for our clients and our team.Swingtech is currently looking for an Instructional Systems Designer to design innovative learning products that are instructionally sound and accurate and that engagingly convey content. The ISD will be expected to coordinate the development and delivery of all client training courses. This position will have local remote work options with possible travel to customer site in Baltimore, MD. Responsibilities include those listed below.Responsibilities:Employ the ADDIE Model and performance-based lean ISD processes to produce high-quality web-based and streaming training solutionsCreate course design documents based on job task and user analysisDesign instructional materialsDevelop end-user and facilitator training materialsDevelop content incorporating subject matter expert (SME) input into clearly written and structured materialsProvide input for modifications to course content and activitiesUtilize multimedia, instructional technology, and authoring tools to create classroom training and eLearning contentEnsure training products comply with applicable guidance and regulations (SCORM, FISMA, Sections 508 and 504, style guides, etc.)Suggest and assist with implementing new instructional technology for efficient and effective training deliveryCommunicate and work directly with the client in support of design and development effortsWork effectively as part of dynamic team that includes SMEs, graphic designers, course developers, and technical writers to provide deliverablesPresent at workshops and training events as neededOther duties as assigned based on business needsMinimum Qualifications:BA/MA in Instructional Design, Instructional Systems Technology, Education, or related field – or - other degree plus equivalent experience (e.g., education, training and experience as a military instructor).Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.Preferred Qualifications:Minimum of 4 years of experience in instructional design, project management, and training and developmentDemonstrated ability to apply instructional design methodology to create effective online training solutionsDemonstrate excellent facilitation, presentation and organizational skillsKnowledge of adult learning theories and ability to incorporate them into class design and deliveryAbility to solve problems in enterprising and proactive waysProficiency in Shareable Content Object Reference Module (SCORM) integration with Learning Management Systems such as Moodle, SumTotal, or BlackboardKnowledge of Section 508 of the Disabilities Act and Section 508 complianceExperience with Articulate Storyline and RiseCollaborative and team-orientedProactive, self-driven, and able to work well in any environment while meeting deliverable deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communicationPrior experience in the health care industry or on Medicare & Medicaid related courses is a plusExperience with using artificial intelligence to improve task efficiency is a plusSummary of Benefits15 PTO days11 paid holidaysMedical Insurance with – 3 options (HSA with $600 Employer Contribution).Dental Insurance with no age limit orthodonture.Vision Insurance through EyeMed in and out of network coverage.Short Term and Long-Term Disability coverage with 100% premium support,Life insurance and AD&D with 100% premium supportSupplemental Life InsuranceCritical Care and Accident Insurance availabilityPet Insurance through NationwideEmployee Assistance Program401k with enrollment from day one. 4% deferral by company.$1500 Annual Training Budget$1500 Referral bonusEligibility for annual merit and discretionary bonusFlexible work arrangementsEqual Opportunity Employer Minority/Female/Veterans/Disabled
