About the Position

Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Pending state license accepted Certifications: One of the following: CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA) Must-Have: - Experience with CensiTrac instrument tracking preferred - Knowledge of Belimed washers/sterilizers preferred - First-time travelers with Trauma I experience and at least 2 years of experience will be considered Description: This position is for weekend night shifts, Thursday through Saturday from 18:00 to 06:30. The role requires working in a sterile processing department. The average daily tray volume in this department is 700, covering a variety of surgical services including trauma, cardiac, neuro, orthopedic, ENT, vascular, transplant, and robotics. Candidates should have experience managing surgical instruments and ensuring proper sterilization processes. The ability to organize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment is essential. This position is for weekends only, with a commitment to the assigned shifts. Travelers will float within their scope of care as needed. Two or more attendance issues within the contract will be considered excessive. All required skills must be met for consideration.
