Certified Medical AssistantPride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client's healthcare facility in Fort Worth, TX 76177. Job Details: Schedule: 7:30am- 5:00pm Location: Fort Worth, TX 76177 Job Type: Local contract Contract Length: 3+ months (Possibility of extension or conversion) Pay Range: $21/hr to $23.40/hr* *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.Duties:Perform clinical duties within the scope of Medical Assistant practice, including venipuncture, specimen collection, EKGs, wound care, medication administration, and operation of diagnostic equipment.Prepare, sterilize, and maintain medical equipment and exam/treatment rooms while following infection control and safety protocols.Room patients, prepare them for examinations, and accurately document patient care and clinical information in medical records.Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, follow company policies and Standard Delegation of Orders (SDO), and conduct non-clinical patient intake and information gathering.Maintain patient confidentiality and provide courteous, respectful service while supporting overall clinic operations and performing additional duties as assigned.Requirements:Education: High school graduate or GED equivalentCertification(s): Nationally recognized Medical Assistant certificationYears of experience: 1+ years of experience as a Medical AssistantSkills/Specialties/Technology: Knowledge of medical terminology ICD-10 and CPT codingFor workers in the United States, PrideGlobal and it's affiliates offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.PrideGlobal and it's affiliates are an equal opportunity employer.
