Key Responsibilities Ownership of the entire kitchen area under the leadership of the Back of House Director Ownership of all financial aspects of the kitchen (food cost, etc.) Collaboration & team building with kitchen management in all day parts Develop a restaurant culture of growth minded team members and leaders. A culture of product knowledge, stewardship, excitement and generosity. Incorporate this into training, ongoing development, communications and everyday culture Maintain vision alignment with the Operator and the leadership team Ensure stewardship systems are taking place throughout the restaurant Develop leaders in such a way that they are operating as a motivated, high-performance team that embodies the vision of the business Oversee speed of service and completion of goals Oversee product quality and accuracy Create, lead and implement systems that will be the standard for all Back of House innovation and high-performance teams throughout the restaurant Embodies the vision set forth by the Operator and must be able to teach it Empowers management Delegates effectively Provides own vision and accountability Meets regularly with team to discuss issues / improvements Ensure policies are being followed per the Team Member Handbook Evaluates all areas of the business and makes recommendations to the Operator for improvements Creates and maintains a culture of excellence Effectively coach and give directions Skills Strategic thinker, Goal-oriented, Tech-savvy Great communicator both in handling difficult situations and a diverse team Mature, dependable and results-oriented Ability to work in a team environment Very detailed oriented & keenly observant Professional marketing or communications experience Maintains several business and professional community contacts Self-starter, creative and flexible Good business sense, achiever Strong project/time management skills Proven history of consistently performing at a high level Unquestionable integrity and represents Chick-fil-A well Passionate about building relationships with guests and fellow team members Servant spirit with strong sense of stewardship Required and/or Preferred Qualification Prior leadership experience demonstrating skills in food preparation, management, organization, and training development Proven experience in a similar employee development, training development and/or trainer role, regardless of industry Demonstrated strong leadership experience Excellent communication skills - verbal and written High standards in the area of operational excellence, quality, and customer serviceExhibits a natural ability and desire to coach, mentor and develop others and themselves Positive attitude Job Type: Full‑time Schedule (open to discuss) 8-hour shift Days (6AM-2PM), mids (11AM-7PM), or nights (3PM-11PM) (open to discuss) Weekly day range Weekend availability Possible Rotating weekend availability Working at a Chick-fil-A restaurant is more than a job – it’s an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment.
