Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Highland Care Center – Queens, NY
Highland Care Center is seeking a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Queens, NY ! Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized speech-language treatment plans for residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Provide skilled speech-language therapy services in accordance with an established plan of care.
Assess and treat speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and dysphagia disorders.
Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment goals, progress, and home recommendations.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
Complete required documentation accurately and timely in accordance with company policies and state and federal regulations.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
