Senior A&P Mechanic - Sign-on Bonus

Sign-on Bonus up to $45,000! We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior A&P Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Oracle, AZ. This role is essential to ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our light aircraft fleet. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a commitment to excellence in aviation maintenance.

Location & Schedule: Oracle, AZ. Schedule 5 & 2. Candidates must live within a one-hour drive or sixty (60) miles from the base (whichever is greater) of the candidate's residence. Travel between bases is required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on light aircraft to ensure airworthiness and compliance with FAA regulations.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and avionics issues, including sheet metal repair and avionics troubleshooting/repair.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and documentation as required by the FAA and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with the operations team to minimize downtime and optimize aircraft performance.
• Travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, to provide maintenance support during scheduled hitches.
• Perform maintenance tasks during night shifts as dictated by operational requirements.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
• At least 2 years of experience as a certified mechanic performing maintenance on light aircraft.
• Basic communication and computer skills.
• Experience in sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting/repair is highly desirable.
• Must be able to pass a pre-placement physical exam, including a functional capacity exam (strength and flexibility assessment, lifting up to 100 pounds), drug screening, and background check.
