Job Description: A project manager's primary role is to plan, execute, and close projects effectively by coordinating resources, setting goals, and ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget. They act as a leader, communicator, and problem solver, guiding the project team toward success. They lead project teams, manage resources, and communicate project status to stakeholders. Key responsibilities include developing project plans, tracking progress, managing risks, and ensuring client satisfaction. Responsibilities Creating Project Plans. Defining Project Scope and developing a detailed roadmap including timelines, resources, and tasks. Monitoring & Change Management. Tracking progress, identifying risks, and taking corrective action; managing changes and documenting approvals. Resource Management & Planning. Assigning tasks, managing budgets, allocating resources, and tracking expenses. Problem Solving. Identifying and resolving project issues promptly, ensuring tasks are completed on time. Team Leadership. Motivating and guiding the team, fostering collaboration, documenting lessons learned, securing stakeholder approval. Stakeholder Management. Engaging stakeholders, managing expectations, and providing consistent communication. Risk Management. Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks. Quality Assurance. Ensuring deliverables meet quality standards. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or Retail Merchandising. Experience: 3–5 years of project management for mid-level roles, or 10+ years for senior positions. Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent. Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches. Software Tools: Experience with Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, Microsoft Project. Financial Acumen: Ability to manage large budgets, track expenses and control costs. Planning & Analysis: Expertise in scope definition, schedule creation, and risk mitigation. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills for diverse audiences. Leadership & EQ: High emotional intelligence to manage dynamics and resolve conflicts. Adaptability: Capacity to pivot quickly in response to market shifts while maintaining momentum. Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking to analyze complex situations and implement creative solutions. Negotiation: Skill in securing resources or vendor contracts.
