We are seeking a skilled, hands-on litigation associate to join our growing class action and mass arbitration practice. This is a high-impact role for an attorney who thrives in active litigation, enjoys courtroom work, and wants to represent plaintiffs in complex, high-stakes matters. The position is remote within the North Carolina area and reports to the firm's Raleigh office.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in all phases of class action and mass arbitration matters, including case investigation, strategy development, discovery, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.
• Argue motions in state and federal court.
• Defend and take depositions.
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Collaborate with partners, co-counsel, experts, and clients on case strategy and execution.
• Manage day-to-day case responsibilities and contribute to the firm's collaborative, results-driven culture.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for hands-on plaintiff-side class action, mass arbitration, consumer protection, or complex commercial litigation experience.
• Demonstrated experience arguing motions in court and defending depositions.
• Candidates with strong defense-side litigation experience who are motivated to transition to plaintiff-side work will also be considered.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality client representation.

$150,000.00 - $160,000.00 Annually
