Plaintiff’s Litigation Attorney – Up to $250K + Bonus

Phoenix, AZ | 5+ Years | In-Office

Sonja Cotton & Associates is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Arizona-licensed Litigation Attorney to join a highly successful and respected Plaintiff’s law firm with an excellent reputation, strong case flow, with no shortage of new matters.

An established attorney is retiring, creating an unusual opportunity to step into an active practice rather than build one from scratch. The retiring attorney will provide approximately 30 days of transition and shadow training to help ensure a smooth handoff.

Who We Want

We are looking for a confident, self-directed litigator with 5+ years of substantive litigation experience who can take ownership of cases and move them toward resolution.

Plaintiff’s experience is preferred, but strong defense attorneys who are genuinely motivated to move to the Plaintiff’s side are encouraged to apply.

Candidates should have:

• Active Arizona Bar license in good standing
• Strong mediation and arbitration experience
• At least one recent trial
• Excellent negotiation and case-management skills
• Strong client communication skills
• An entrepreneurial, results-oriented mindset
• The ability to work independently without extensive supervision
• A straightforward, honest and team-oriented personality

Many surgery-related matters are resolved within approximately one year, giving successful attorneys the opportunity to generate significant bonuses without waiting years for cases to conclude.  This is an in-office position. The firm is looking for someone who wants to be part of the team and collaborate directly with attorneys and staff.
