Job Description
CNA/Ward Clerk Position Overview The CNA/Ward Clerk will provide essential support within a medical-surgical unit, with potential rotation to the emergency room (ER). This role includes both nursing assistant duties and administrative responsibilities. Key Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff with patient care in the medical-surgical unit.
- Perform administrative duties as a ward clerk, including managing patient records and facilitating communication among healthcare team members.
- Support a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care and attention to detail.
- Must possess a current CNA certification from the Minnesota Nurse Aide Registry.
- Current AHA BLS certification is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
- Completion of a medical terminology course or equivalent is required.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
