Provides leadership for those involved in the development, design, testing, implementation, maintenance, support, and operations of PG&E's systems infrastructure.PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity,specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be around the minimum and the midpoint $136,000 - $184,000. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. Bay Area Min: $ 136,000Bay Area Max: $ 232,000To obtain and maintain employment, you must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen, a security background check for unescorted access to a nuclear plant, psychological screen, and be subject to random drug and alcohol screening in fulfillment of federal requirements.This position is on site at Diablo Canyon Power Plant in Avila Beach 4 days per week on 4X10 schedule with Friday’s as RDO.Job ResponsibilitiesAchieve results through others by setting and communicating goals and metrics, monitoring progress; providing ongoing coaching and feedback, and reinforcing behaviors that drive high performance.Communicates and champions the infrastructure requirements necessary to execute the IT portfolioContinuous monitoring of emerging tools and technologies to assure the most appropriate technology is being proposed and deployedDevelops and manage to a set of meaningful metrics to demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness of the team on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.Develops relationship across IT, with the goal of growing meaningful relationships that will facilitate collaborations and communications.Drives and contributes to the continuous improvement of Infrastructure components, monitoring and processesEnsures appropriate resources are assigned to each project/program.Ensures compliance to Standards/regulations and governance processesEstablishes Development Plans for staffHighly collaborative, able to work cross-functionally; possessing the ability to forge relationships and partner effectivelyManages employees, contractors and vendors for the efficient delivery of servicesMonitors program results against technical specifications.Provides performance feedback and guidance to staffTypically responsible for a staff of technical resources consisting of professionals, Support and/or union positionsQualificationsMinimum:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience3 years experience in IT project/program management, or infrastructure/operations experienceDesired:Masters Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experienceUtility industry experience, regulatedLSS-Lean Six Sigma CertificationPMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certificationITIL-Information Technology Infrastructure Library Practitioner certificationITIL-Information Technology Infrastructure Library Manager certification
