Lincoln, NE! 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM!Position Summary: The purpose of this role is to provide customer service support, serve as the receptionist, and reconcile and verify sales invoices and other accounting documents generated by routes and route drivers. The position performs routine calculating, posting, and verification tasks to gather essential financial data used in maintaining accurate account records.Essential Job FunctionsAnswer and route incoming callsReconcile route invoices and daily truck loads, including balancing all financial instruments generated from the routesMatch and enter deposits received from the Cash Specialist into route reportsProcess and enter invoices and corresponding allowances into the route accounting softwareTrack and verify overages and shortages identified during route reconciliationVerify and scan all required route documentationRespond to customer requests for product purchasesCollect and distribute daily mailReceive and sort customer payments by locationPrepare daily bank depositsInitiate new hire uniform vouchers and initiate payroll deduction formsMaintain and order office suppliesMaintain the postage machine and manage FedEx shipping processesContact customers from Bounced Email report and update information as neededPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent, with coursework in office procedures, typing and accountingGeneral knowledge of accounting principlesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to perform mathematical calculations accurately and efficientlyProficiency in using a personal computer and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.)Effective oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasksHigh attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively with othersAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentWorking EnvironmentWork is generally performed in an office environment with no unusual or hazardous conditions.
