Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking an Automotive Technician to become an integral part of our team. The technician will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul passenger vehicles, light trucks, SUVs, and mixed vehicle types in an independent repair shop and dealership service department environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform vehicle diagnostics and identify repair needs.Complete repair services, including engine, brake, electrical, alignment, and suspension repairs.Perform routine maintenance, tune-ups, and preventive maintenance services.Inspect and test vehicles to identify necessary adjustments.Operate diagnostic and repair equipment effectively.Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs.Apply troubleshooting skills to resolve vehicle issues accurately and efficiently.Required QualificationsASE certification.Valid driver's license.Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, engine repair, brake systems, and electrical systems.Experience using diagnostic equipment.Knowledge of preventive maintenance and automotive troubleshooting.Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Effective time management skills.Preferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.
