They bridge the gap between technical operations and business objectives by driving incident management, process automation, root cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.Core ResponsibilitiesOperational Governance: Oversee multiple support portfolios, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs).Incident & Problem Management: Lead major incident responses (P1/P2), ensuring thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and eliminating recurring system bugs.Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and evaluate support teams, handling scheduling, escalations, and talent development.System Stability & DR: Maintain application reliability, disaster recovery planning, capacity management, and resilience testing.Stakeholder Management: Liaise with senior leadership, product teams, and business units to communicate system statuses and align support strategies with company goals.Continuous Improvement: Drive automation, self-service tools, and system observability to reduce manual workloads and prevent future system failuresKey Qualifications & SkillsExperience: Typically 10+ years in IT service management, application support, or a related technical domain, with several years in a leadership capacity.Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of cloud environments, system monitoring, and database queryingFrameworks: In-depth knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes and Agile methodologies.Soft Skills: Exceptional crisis management, conflict resolution, and executive communication skills.About NTT DATANTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
