Enforcement and Administrative Analyst

Effective July 1, 2025, the California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee's monthly salary by 3% [BU 1], i n exchange for leave credits. The salary range(s) included on this job advertisement do not reflect this reduction in pay. Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue PLP 2025 hours on the first day of each pay period in accordance with their applicable Bargaining Unit contract .

Under the direction of the Data Management and Office Services Manager (Supervisor I), the Analyst II will function as the District's Enforcement and Administrative Analyst within the Division's Long Beach Office (Southern District). The incumbent will provide a variety of complex analytical and administrative duties in support of the district's programs and business operations. The incumbent will perform complex analytical functions related to enforcement, data management, documentation, and process improvement. The Analyst II must maintain working knowledge of statutes and regulations that relate to and/or are administered by the State, Department, Division, and District as it related to CalGEM business operations. The incumbent will work with all levels of staff and is expected to provide consultative services in the specified areas. The position will utilize a variety of full journey level analytical techniques to inform and advise management, resolve problems, interact with key personnel, and prepare reports. The incumbent must demonstrate a high degree of independence, initiative, critical thinking, and creativity.

Working Conditions


This position is located at the California Geologic Energy Management Division - Southern District office and requires daily in-office attendance at 3780 Kilroy Airport Way, Suite 400, Long Beach, CA 90806 . Alternative work locations will not be considered.
