Medical Assistant (Spanish Speaking Required)

Medical Assistant (Certified Phlebotomist) Bilingual Spanish Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM Location: Bronx, NY We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Medical Assistant/Certified Phlebotomist to join our team. In this role, you'll provide exceptional patient care to the senior population, while supporting providers with both clinical and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities: Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, processing, and lab coordination Obtain and document vital signs accurately in the EMR Perform EKGs, fingerstick glucose testing, INR testing, and other routine clinical procedures Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies, and maintain infection control standards Assist providers during patient exams and procedures Help coordinate follow-up appointments, lab work, and patient transportation Provide excellent customer service while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Certified Medical Assistant and Certified Phlebotomist required EKG experience required At least 1 year of venipuncture experience (geriatric experience preferred) Strong communication, computer, and customer service skills Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment If you're passionate about providing quality patient care and enjoy working with a collaborative clinical team, we'd love to hear from you!
