Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and in-depth medical history assessments

• Provide critical intraoperative support by preparing the surgical environment, managing patient positioning, and transferring instruments during operations
• Administer excellent pre- and post-operative care, which includes managing medications, providing wound care, assisting with discharge planning, and offering patient education

Educational Requirements

• A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference given to candidates with clinical rotations emphasizing surgical practice

Certification Requirements

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• Required certifications include BLS and ACLS
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
