Step into a dynamic contract role supporting K-12 students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist in a school-based environment near Williamsburg, VA. This full-time opportunity runs from early October through the end of the year, providing essential services to students across grade levels. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state or eligibility to obtain
• Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is preferred
• Strong understanding of intervention strategies to support fine and gross motor skill development
• Capable of working effectively with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA)
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Confidence in collaborating with educators, families, and fellow therapists
• Dedication to fostering student independence and growth through evidence-based practices

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement OT services for students in grades K-12 based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Develop individualized and group interventions to improve students’ functional abilities in the classroom
• Consult with teachers, COTAs, and parents regarding student progress and recommendations
• Maintain documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory policies
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary solutions
• Support transitional planning and self-care training as appropriate for student needs
