Corporate Accountant

One of our clients is hiring for a Corporate Accountant in Atlanta, GA. Our client is an alternative investment firm focused on real estate strategies across major markets, combining institutional-level sophistication with an entrepreneurial, vertically integrated approach to investing. This role is responsible for timely and accurate financial preparation across various entities and a small portfolio of properties. The Corporate Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting for corporate and trust entities, manage accounts payable and receivable, and support budgeting, reforecasting, and audit and tax processes. It's a great opportunity for an early-career accountant looking to build broad experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial investment environment.

Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting for corporate and trust entities, including the accounting close process
• Manage accounts payable and receivable for an assigned portfolio, including invoice review and cash management
• Assist with budgeting, reforecasting, and preliminary and annual audit and tax return preparation
• Manage annual registration filings and support other ad-hoc projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Accounting degree required
• Minimum of 1.5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Property accounting or real estate industry experience is a plus
• Yardi experience is a plus
