Traveling Physical Therapist Opportunity

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join as a traveling physical therapist in Kennesaw, GA at an outpatient facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. New grads allowed. Evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, delegate discipline-specific therapy services, document thoroughly, and participate in student education and professional development.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Georgia Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience in outpatient therapy preferred.
• Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, write goals and plans of care, and document according to state, federal, and payer requirements.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safe patient handling and infection control practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in outpatient settings treating musculoskeletal or orthopedic conditions.
• Experience supervising or mentoring students.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday with 2 evenings until 6:00 PM.
• Workweek: 5x8 schedule.
• Assignment Type: Outpatient setting in Kennesaw, GA; candidate may be expected to follow clinic guidelines for appearance, attendance, and punctuality.

Provide skilled outpatient physical therapy that focuses on safe, functional return to community activities. Follow physician orders and payer authorizations, complete timely and accurate documentation including letters of medical necessity, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Maintain professional licensure and adhere to state practice acts and organizational code of conduct.
