About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Finished Vehicle Logistics to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic leadership and operational excellence of the finished vehicle logistics network, with a focus on enhancing service reliability, scalability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role involves driving accountability through key performance indicators, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and leading the operational implementation of new customer programs and expanded service offerings. The Head of Finished Vehicle Logistics will also be tasked with building and maintaining executive relationships with automotive manufacturer customers, managing operational budgets, and leading a high-performing organization across multiple locations. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in finished vehicle logistics, automotive logistics, transportation, supply chain management, or related logistics environments. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record of supporting large automotive manufacturer customers, deep operational knowledge of various logistics networks, and experience in managing both direct and indirect labor organizations. Strong financial management skills, the ability to lead transformation initiatives, and exceptional executive communication are essential. A strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into operational results, the ideal candidate will also have a background in transportation network expansion and infrastructure development.
