As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.75 / Hour Valid Driver's LicenseTSA Issued TWIC Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri05:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, unauthorized access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter, with working conditions varying by location. Monitor access control points, verify authorized entry, document visitor and contractor activity, and report unusual conditions to appropriate site personnel. Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Possess a TSA-issued TWIC. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
