Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual) Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123) Armed Guard Card/License Job Schedule: DayTimeTue09:00 PM - 05:00 AM Fri01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or local responders as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including access points, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, contractors, visitors, and/or deliveries, verifying credentials, following post orders, and reporting discrepancies, damaged barriers, and/or access concerns. Support incident reporting and daily operations by preparing logs, noting maintenance or hazard-related concerns, and relaying observations that could impact site procedures, traffic flow, and/or emergency response readiness. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. An armed guard card or license is required. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
