As an LVN in our 6-bed IDD ICF, you will be a vital part of a compassionate, professional environment committed to personalized care and positive outcomes.


What You Will Do:

• Provide expert nursing care to residents in a 6-bed ICF setting
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and other personal care needs
• Oversee and coordinate medical treatments and medication administration
• Support residents in their daily activities, promoting independence and dignity
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans

Required Skills:

• Valid California LVN license
• Proven experience in a healthcare or residential care setting, preferably with individuals with IDD
• Strong understanding of medication administration and medical documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with compassion and professionalism

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in an ICF or similar facility
• Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish-English
• Knowledge of state-specific regulations and compliance standards
• CPR and First Aid certifications

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification in California
• At least 1-2 years of experience in IDD or behavioral health settings
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Other Requirements:

• Must be willing to work with individuals with varying needs in a residential setting
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including possible weekend shifts
• Certification in CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Reliable transportation for travel if needed, with reimbursement where applicable
