Small Animal Associate Veterinarian Job, Redding, California, USA

Job Description: Our client is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a busy and well-established small animal hospital in Redding, California. This role offers exposure to a diverse caseload, ranging from routine wellness care to more complex medical and surgical cases, all within a supportive and collaborative clinical setting.

You will be part of a close-knit team that values mentorship, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. With access to modern diagnostic equipment and a structured support system, this position is well suited to both experienced veterinarians and those looking to build confidence and develop their clinical skills further.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

Conduct thorough examinations and develop diagnostic and treatment plans
Provide preventative healthcare and client education tailored to patient needs
Perform routine surgeries and assist with more advanced procedures
Manage medical cases and oversee hospitalised patients
Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver high-quality care
Qualifications Needed:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
Eligible for veterinary licensure in California
Strong clinical interest in small animal medicine and surgery
Effective communication skills and a client-focused approach
