PCB Engineer

PCB Layout Engineer | Cambridge We’re looking for an experienced PCB Layout Engineer to support the design of complex electronic systems, working closely with RF, electronics, mechanical, FPGA and manufacturing teams. The Role You’ll take ownership of PCB layout activities across mixed-signal, digital, power and RF-related designs—ensuring performance, reliability and manufacturability from concept through to production. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality PCB layouts from schematics using Altium Designer Optimise designs for signal integrity, power distribution, thermal performance & EMC Support high-speed interfaces (Ethernet, DDR, LVDS, PCIe, JESD204) Produce full manufacturing documentation (fab & assembly packs) Contribute to design reviews, DFM/DFA and continuous improvement of PCB standards Support View email address on click.appcast.io builds and resolve layout/manufacturing issues Key Requirements Strong PCB layout experience (Altium Designer / Altium 365) Solid understanding of stack-ups, impedance control, SI/PI, EMC & thermal design Experience with mixed-signal, digital and RF-supporting designs Knowledge of PCB fabrication, SMT processes and DFM/DFA Strong attention to detail and ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams Desirable RF / microwave / high-speed PCB design Multilayer and advanced PCB technologies IPC standards and engineering change processes #J-18808-Ljbffr Central Employment Agency (North East) Ltd.
