About the role
You will design and document system solutions for NYC DSS / HRA OCSS Strategic Modernization. Engagements are on-site in NYC.
About OCSS Strategic Modernization
This work covers OCSS Web, mainframe-to-web conversion, and related case-management / child-support tools (.NET Framework web apps). Workstreams include CLU case management, Enforcement case management, Parent Support Program tracking, Child Support Snapshot for CBOs, Automated Mailing System, and OCSE Web legacy (CSTrack). Expect design specs for court-message data flows, custom apps, reporting, and scheduled jobs.
What you'll do
- Develop system design specifications and alternative approaches that meet system and security requirements
- Design specifications for databases, communications, hardware, network, security, storage, and software configurations
- Support design of web services-based applications, document management, Active Directory security, workflow systems, and 3-tiered applications
- Produce documentation and partner with ITS staff on enhancements, reports, audit/security mechanisms, and quality standards
What you need (6+ years)
