Senior Hardware Engineer

Join our client's hardware team focused on designing high power delivery systems used in semiconductor test equipment. This role owns the full lifecycle of power modules from concept through production. Work includes circuit design, simulation, lab validation, and system integration. Responsibilities Design high current power delivery systems for test platforms Develop switching regulators, multiphase VRMs, and linear regulators Perform SPICE simulations and PDN analysis Validate designs in lab using high current test setups Troubleshoot issues related to stability, transient response, and thermal performance Optimize power efficiency, load regulation, and protection features Partner with firmware, mechanical, and test engineering teams Drive designs from concept through production release Required Qualifications 8 plus years in power electronics or hardware design Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering Strong experience with switching power supplies and voltage regulators Expertise in multiphase power design and power stages Experience with power integrity and transient response tuning Hands on lab experience with high current systems Proficiency with SPICE tools for circuit simulation Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium or Cadence Preferred Qualifications Experience with semiconductor ATE systems Knowledge of dynamic voltage scaling and digital power control Experience with telemetry systems Familiarity with high current connectors and low impedance design Thermal modeling and heatsink design experience Exposure to automation or AI in hardware workflows Tools and Environment SPICE tools such as LTspice or PSpice PDN tools like Sigrity or SIwave PCB tools such as Altium, Cadence, or Mentor Lab equipment including oscilloscopes and electronic loads #J-18808-Ljbffr
