AP Specialist

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a custom engineering and manufacturing company in the Tampa, Florida area, for a Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to support a fast-paced accounting team serving the aerospace and defense industry. This is a fully onsite opportunity. The position will require 30–40 hours per week during the first month for training and onboarding, then transition to a maximum of 20 hours per week on an ongoing basis. Required Qualifications 4–6 years of accounting experience, including general ledger responsibilities Hands-on experience with month-end close Strong account reconciliation and problem-solving skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing or inventory accounting Exposure to cost accounting, including standard costing or job costing Experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP systems Familiarity with government contracting environments, including Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional seeking a flexible part-time role within a highly specialized and innovative manufacturing environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
