Installer Service Manager

Essential Job Functions Maximize installer sales with a focus on market entitlement. Direct activities of all team members assigned to the installer service counter to ensure the highest level of customer service. Collaborate with the store manager to ensure proper staffing of installer service specialists (ISS), delivery specialists and support personnel. Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management to select qualified team members. Route delivery specialists efficiently to maximize customer service while minimizing expenses. Handle all commercial customer complaints in a friendly, efficient, and satisfactory manner. Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced and maintained according to company standards and that all quarterly vehicle inspections are completed on time with accurate mileage entries in the asset management system. Report and correct all inventory discrepancies in a timely manner in collaboration with the ISS and store management team. Oversee the installer counter to provide commercial accounts with excellent service, coordinating with the sales specialist and territory sales manager when applicable. Ensure orders, including warranty parts and cores, are billed before leaving the store and staged properly. Guarantee that new, core, and warranty returns are picked up and credited promptly. Audit installer returns for warranty abuse and verify all returns are correctly tagged and labeled. Assist with the collection of past‑due accounts by working with the store manager and credit department. Provide performance evaluation input for ISS and delivery specialists to the store manager. Utilize all relevant company training programs to ensure all supervised team members complete required courses. Conduct routine motor vehicle record and driver license audits on delivery specialists. Required Qualifications Leading technical parts specialist with a solid background in mechanics. Above‑average communication skills. Desired Qualifications Hands‑on knowledge of automotive repairs. A.S.E. certification. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired). Compensation and Benefits Competitive wages and paid time off.
