Confident Comfort Heating & Cooling is a growing residential HVAC company in Flagstaff, Arizona. We're looking for a Service & Operations Manager who can help us strengthen our team, improve daily performance, and build the systems that support continued growth.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys both managing people and making things work better.

You don't necessarily need years of HVAC management experience. We're interested in candidates who demonstrate strong leadership, organization, accountability, and the ability to learn.

You'll work directly with the owner and have access to guidance from an experienced business coach as you develop in the position.

Compensation:

$65,000 - $95,000 per year

Responsibilities:

Lead and Develop Our Service Team

• Manage daily service operations and support technicians in delivering excellent customer experiences.

• Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable.

• Coach employees to improve technical skills, productivity, communication, and performance.

• Identify training needs and coordinate ongoing employee development.

• Help resolve customer concerns and operational challenges.

Monitor Performance and Drive Results

• Track key performance indicators, including productivity, revenue, profitability, callbacks, and customer satisfaction.

• Conduct regular performance reviews and team meetings.

• Identify problems, investigate their causes, and implement corrective actions.

• Help employees understand their goals and how their individual performance contributes to company success.

Turn Ideas Into Action

• Work with the owner to prioritize and implement operational improvement initiatives.

• Develop and improve standard operating procedures, checklists, and accountability systems.

• Organize projects, establish deadlines, assign responsibilities, and follow through to completion.

• Monitor whether new processes are being followed and producing the intended results.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, communication, and teamwork.

Support Installation Quality and Team Development

• Coordinate with installation leadership to improve communication between departments.

• Help establish and maintain quality-control standards.

• Support training related to equipment operation, diagnostics, startup procedures, and callback prevention.

• Assist in identifying and resolving recurring installation and service issues.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in management, supervision, team leadership, or operational coordination.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Experience coaching employees, setting expectations, and addressing performance issues.

• Comfortable working with numbers, reports, and performance metrics.

• Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and follow through on implementation.

• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.

• Comfortable using business software and learning new systems.

Preferred, but Not Required

• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, home services, or another field-service industry.

• Experience managing technicians or other field employees.

• Experience with project management, process improvement, or operational systems.

• Relevant college education, technical training, or management certifications.

• Experience with Housecall Pro or similar field-service management software.

A college degree is not required. Relevant experience and demonstrated capabilities will be considered.
