This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist who enjoys working onsite within a collaborative educational environment. You’ll support student growth and communication skills during the current school year, in a role suited to those seeking part-time flexibility.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Alabama SLP licensure (ABESPA) and/or Alabama DOE SLP certification (at least one of these is required to start; both must be acquired)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred
• Prior experience in a school setting or working with elementary and middle school populations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students, onsite, at the intermediate school
• Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and maintain thorough documentation for student programs
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers and families to ensure student success
• Manage a diverse caseload of 3rd to 6th grade students with varying needs
• Employ evidence-based practices and individualized interventions to support learning and communication goals
