Student Pastor

The student pastor is called to minister, inspire, and equip students from children to youth, as well as college age, in a Christ honoring, biblically based format. They are responsible for growing a biblical based student program that fosters and grows a vibrant student ministry within the church as well as reaching out to students in our local schools and community. The student pastor will develop and apply programs and activities for student spiritual growth such as, but not limited to, weekly worship, VBS, youth rallies, outreach in the community, and weekly opportunities to fellowship and grow in their personal relationship with Jesus. A component of the student pastor's responsibilities will be to provide Christ centered, biblically based ministering to students as needed, including support, counseling, and care in a biblically based, Christ centered way. All components of the student pastor's responsibilities will be in keeping with biblical values, as well as the vision and mission of Salvation Church at Rankin Lake, while adhering to all policies and procedures. The student pastor can expect the support of the lead pastor and elders in carrying out their responsibilities, while receiving the necessary resources for the work. Regular duties The student pastor will have oversight of all student activities and ministries including Sunday morning, nursery, and Kids Crew. The student pastor will report directly to the lead pastor and elders, while correlating all activities with the lead pastor, elders, worship and production director, and missions coordinator. The student pastor will meet weekly with the lead pastor to coordinate all activities. They will lead student weekly Wednesday night worship, develop programs, plan and execute activities, recruit volunteers, control the student and Kids Crew budget, all within the vision of View email address on click.appcast.io. #J-18808-Ljbffr Experiencing Worship
