Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital assignment requiring an OH or compact RN license and at least one year of specialty experience.

Details

Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital environment
Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Uses Epic EMR
Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

Active OH RN license or compact license in hand
Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start
Minimum of 1 year combined permanent experience in the specialty required
Epic EMR experience required
One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for
COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required with medical/religious exemptions only

Additional Information

Provide nursing care to medical/surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required on both
Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
Permanent candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
First-time travelers are not considered for this position
