Exciting Opportunity for Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist I (MRI Tech I)

Job Description:


- Join a dynamic healthcare team where your expertise as an MRI Technologist will make a real impact.
- Perform MRI procedures and techniques to assist in accurate diagnostics for patients.
- Operate cutting-edge magnetic resonance scanners, producing high-quality images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
- Utilize your knowledge of imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy to ensure exceptional image quality.
- Adjust technical settings and scanning parameters to enhance images while minimizing unnecessary exposure.
- Collaborate with Radiologists and medical staff during exams and procedures for the best patient outcomes.
- Maintain proper documentation and assist in the archival and retrieval of exams and related health information.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on the MRI scanner while managing imaging data effectively.
- Contribute to the hospital's quality indicators and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.


Minimum Qualifications:


- Graduate of a CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent.
- Hold ARRT certification and American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Previous MRI experience is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


- Exhibit sound judgment, patience, and professionalism in a busy healthcare environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Show creativity in problem analysis and decision-making.
- Handle sensitive information with tact and discretion, maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficient in using MS Office, EMR systems, and standard office equipment.
- Self-directed with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Schedule Requirements:


- Regular and sustained attendance is essential to this role.
- Flexibility to work beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours as needed.
- On-call work may be required to address urgent organizational, patient, or employee needs.
