ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience and be prepared to float between units as needed.

Unit Information

The ICU unit specializes in the management and treatment of patients with complex health issues, including:

Sepsis
Post-cardiac arrest
IABP management
COVID-19 respiratory failure
Severe diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA)
Multi-system organ failure
CIWA assessments
GI bleeding
Renal failure
Stroke management

Equipment

Spacelabs telemetry monitors
LifePak defibrillators and transport monitors
Bellmont for massive transfusion protocol (MTP)
IABP
PA catheters
Ventilators

Certifications Required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) - Preferred

Shift Details

This position requires night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:30. Block scheduling is not available.

Additional Information

All previous permanent employees of any affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for this travel position. Active compact licenses are honored at facilities within the region.
