Culture of compassion: Help us make a positive impact on every life we touch Competitive Pay: $16 - $19/hour + credit for experience Schedule: This is a full time position with a varying schedule | Holiday rotation required Investing in You: Enjoy a comprehensive, quality benefits package Supportive Team: We value our team members just as much as the people we serve What You'll Do As a Cook at St. Mark Village, you are responsible for preparing daily meals and special event menus in a hands-on, fast-paced environment Collaborate with the culinary team in food production, menu planning, and the preparation of baked goods, sauces, soups, and other meals from scratch Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are followed, including maintaining a clean kitchen environment Oversee the proper presentation of meals, supervise and mentor culinary associates, and ensure accurate, consistent, and timely food production What you will need: Minimum of 1 year of cooking experience (required) Senior living or healthcare kitchen experience strongly preferred Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions Ability to speak effectively before groups of Residents or team members Must be at least 18 years of age or older Benefits for Qualified Employees: Medical Dental Vision
