Job Description

Job Summary:
The Radiologic Tech Diagnostic Weekend is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures across diverse patient populations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality images and patient care. This role requires technical proficiency, safety awareness, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

Operate radiographic equipment to produce clear and precise diagnostic images.
Explain procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding.
Demonstrate proper patient positioning and adjust equipment settings based on protocols.
Follow radiation safety principles to protect patients and staff.
Assist radiologists during imaging procedures or other related duties as assigned.
Interact with multiple computer systems for patient data entry and image management.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
Registered or registry-eligible Radiologic Technologist.
Current Kansas state license for Radiology Technology.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association, or willingness to complete within 90 days.
Prior experience in Diagnostic Radiology preferred.
Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and safety procedures.
