Associate Attorney

Gibbes Burton, LLC is seeking an attorney to work on complex civil litigation matters. The successful candidate must: Be client-focused Possess good organizational ability Be able to track deadlines Be very detail-oriented, and Possess excellent legal research and writing skills Strong academic credentials and admission to the South Carolina bar are required. Our attorneys have the opportunity to do things such as: Interview witnesses Identify and interact with experts Communicate with clients Develop case strategies Conduct legal and other technical research Prepare and respond to discovery requests Prepare and argue motions Work directly with paralegals and support staff Attend and take depositions Attend and participate in mediations Attend and participate in trials Competitive salary depending upon work experience.
