Job Details

We are seeking an attorney with 5–12 years of experience to join our growing Labor & Employment Practice Group. This role is ideal for an attorney ready to take the next step, handling sophisticated matters, mentoring junior attorneys, and developing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Represent public agency and private sector clients in labor and employment litigation and counseling matters
• Manage matters through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, trial preparation, and appeals
• Advise clients on personnel and employment-related issues
• Lead significant portions of litigation matters and collaborate with junior team members
• Help mentor and develop attorneys within the practice group
• Participate in practice and client development efforts

Requirements

• 5–12 years of litigation experience; labor & employment experience preferred
• Trial experience is a plus
• Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage complex matters and bring projects to completion
• Interest in mentoring and developing junior attorneys
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in building client relationships
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active California bar license in good standing
