Join a dynamic team in the heart of Boston, MA, at WCS Healthcare Partners. We are seeking dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses to be part of our Emergency Department. Enjoy the benefits of free on-site parking and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population in a 65-bed, pod-based Emergency Department.
- Perform assessments, documentation, IV insertions, phlebotomy, EKGs, and cardiac monitoring.
- Conduct point-of-care testing and splinting.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to manage patient care effectively.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health maintenance.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Nursing experience.
- Proficiency in general ED nursing skills.
- Current AHA Certified BLS and ACLS certifications.
- NRP certification required; TNCC strongly preferred.
- Experience with EPIC ASAP EMR system is advantageous.
- Willingness to float and rotate shifts as needed, though night positions do not rotate.
