Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:
Provide specialized perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout surgical procedures. Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care for surgical patients.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations promptly.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during various surgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
• Document patient information, surgical details, and care provided accurately.
• Coordinate with other healthcare team members to ensure smooth operation workflows.

Qualifications:

• Valid Idaho RN license must be active at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 3 years of operating room experience.
• Proven trauma care experience.
• BLS certification is required; CNOR certification preferred.
• Ability to handle high-acuity patients and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Flexible with shift work and on-call responsibilities.
