Shipping & Receiving Associate

A growing manufacturing company is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to join its team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of shipping, receiving, deliveries, and warehouse support in a hands-on manufacturing environment. If you are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and take pride in ensuring materials and products are delivered accurately and on time, we'd like to hear from you.

Pay - $17-19/hr

Schedule - Monday - Friday 6 am - 6 pm, occasional weekends and plenty of OT

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company pickup truck with a 20-foot trailer to deliver and pick up materials, products, and equipment.
• Prepare, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Weigh packages and generate shipping labels.
• Verify shipping addresses and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Stage completed shipments for carrier pickup.
• Receive and organize incoming materials and deliveries.
• Assist with inventory movement and material handling throughout the facility.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area.
• Support assembly and warehouse operations as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or receiving environment preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents within the past three years).
• Experience driving a pickup truck with a 20-foot trailer preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills for shipping documentation and label creation.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Push and pull heavy materials using proper equipment.
• Stand, walk, bend, and move throughout an 8–12 hour shift.
• Wear required personal protective equipment, including steel-toe boots and safety glasses.
