Senior Accountant

Join a growing global manufacturing company located in Earth City, St. Louis County, Missouri, where you’ll play a key role in driving process improvements, owning full-cycle accounting responsibilities, and supporting compensation and benefits accounting. You’ll partner with leaders across Finance and Human Resources, improve accounting processes, and make a meaningful impact on the business while enjoying a hybrid schedule with one work-from-home day each week. What You’ll Do Own full-cycle accounting responsibilities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close. Drive process improvements that increase efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and improve financial reporting. Partner with Human Resources to manage accounting for compensation, payroll, benefits, relocation expenses, and other employee-related costs. Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide insights to support business decisions. Manage accruals, prepaids, tariffs, and other balance sheet and income statement accounts. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and departmental financial analysis. Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit requests. Participate in special projects and system enhancements that improve accounting operations. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience in public accounting and/or a large corporate environment. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, accrual accounting, and variance analysis. A continuous improvement mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
