Associate Attorney 3

Associate AttorneyOur Chicago, IL office seeks a well-rounded and highly motivated Associate Attorney with at least 3-5 years of medical malpractice (nursing home experience preferred) defense experience. Must be licensed to practice Illinois courts. This is an exceptional opportunity to handle a variety of medical malpractice litigation matters for nationwide clients with a forward-thinking firm. Submission of writing sample solely authored by the candidate is required with resume to be considered for this position.Skills and AbilitiesThe individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with the following:proactively work independently and as part of a team;demonstrate strong legal research and analytical skills;excellent written and verbal communication skills;strong attention to detail with superb organization and prioritization skills;ability to move from case to case;knowledge of court procedures; and,proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and navigating the internet.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include handling a variety different cases.
