Practical Nurse (Outpatient)

Duties

Provides practical nursing care to patients in the outpatient clinic to include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, completing vision screenings, and documenting all patient interactions

Administers prescribed medications with increased independence, ensuring proper patient dosages, routes, and times are followed

Prepares and delivers oral, topical, and injectable forms while monitoring for and responding to side effects or adverse reactions

Assists in performing and managing simple medical procedures, physical examinations, and treatments

Assists in counseling and educating patients

Review patient record and prep charts for appointments
