AI Operations Strategist

This role is with a pro‑Israel advocacy organization; candidates must be comfortable supporting and advancing a strong U.S.–Israel relationship as a core part of their work. About the Role Our NGO client is hiring a Technology Enablement Manager to help its Development team use AI and modern workflow tools to move faster, reduce administrative drag, and improve the quality of information inside core systems. This is a practical, hands‑on AI enablement role for someone who knows how to sit with business users, understand where work is breaking down, and turn those pain points into tools, workflows, pilots, training, and adoption. The person in this seat will help fundraisers spend less time on manual CRM updates, meeting notes, follow‑up tracking, and administrative work and more time focused on relationships, donor engagement, and fundraising outcomes. They are actively investing in AI‑enabled workflows, including new tools such as VonLabs, and this role will be part of turning that investment into real day‑to‑day impact. What You’ll Own You will work closely with Development leadership, fundraisers, Salesforce/CRM stakeholders, IT, and other internal partners to identify high‑value use cases and bring practical solutions to life. Key responsibilities include: Identify and prioritize AI and workflow opportunities that improve Development team productivity. Partner with fundraisers and Development leaders to understand pain points, user behavior, and process gaps. Help design and roll out AI‑enabled workflows tied to meeting notes, CRM updates, task creation, donor follow‑up, reporting, and data quality. Support voice‑to‑CRM, note‑to‑CRM, and other workflow concepts that reduce manual entry while improving information quality. Translate business needs into clear requirements for IT, CRM, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Help evaluate, test, and implement emerging tools connected to fundraising, CRM, and internal operations. Create training materials, job aids, rollout plans, and feedback loops that help new workflows stick. Support dashboards, reporting improvements, and process changes that give Development leaders better visibility. Balance innovation with the realities of security, governance, approvals, and enterprise adoption. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate has already implemented AI‑enabled workflows inside a real organization and can speak clearly about what they built, who used it, what changed, and what they learned. You do need enough CRM fluency to understand how users work, how data moves, where processes break, and how AI or automation can help without creating chaos. Preferred Qualifications 5–8+ years of experience in technology enablement, RevOps, Sales Ops, Development Ops, business systems, product/project management, solutions consulting, or a similar internal‑facing role. Hands‑on experience implementing AI tools, workflow automations, copilots, knowledge workflows, or internal productivity tools. Working knowledge of Salesforce or another enterprise CRM. Experience gathering requirements from non‑technical stakeholders and turning them into practical solutions. Strong change management skills, including training, rollout planning, adoption, and user feedback. Ability to communicate clearly with both business users and technical teams. Sound judgment around security, data privacy, approvals, and responsible technology adoption. Comfort working in a mission‑driven, pro‑Israel organization with public visibility. Willingness to work in a hybrid office environment. This Role Is Probably Not a Fit If you are: Looking for a fully remote position. A deeply technical engineering role with limited user interaction. A theoretical AI strategy role without hands‑on implementation. A role focused mostly on personal AI experimentation, content generation, or side projects. A low‑visibility environment where mission alignment does not matter. Location Washington, DC is strongly preferred. Potential secondary markets may include South Florida/Fort Lauderdale, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Houston. The default expectation is three days per week in office. Compensation Target base salary is approximately $130,000, with flexibility up to $160,000 for a candidate with strong experience across AI enablement, workflow design, stakeholder management, and CRM‑connected execution.
