Schedule: Rotating Shifts | 40 Hours Weekly
(Combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, weekends included)

Position Overview

is seeking an experienced and certified Monitor Technician / Virtual Sitter for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac monitoring skills, the ability to work rotating shifts, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and identify abnormalities
Accurately interpret and document EKG rhythms
Communicate significant rhythm changes promptly to clinical staff
Provide virtual patient observation and support as assigned
Maintain accurate patient records within the Cerner EMR system
Collaborate effectively with nursing and interdisciplinary teams
Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and compliance requirements

Requirements

Current active state license/certification required
Must be certified as a Monitor Technician
Successful completion of facility EKG exam during orientation
Minimum of 4 years of recent Monitor Tech experience
BLS certification required
Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Assignment Details

Guaranteed 32 hours per week
Rotating shift schedule
Holiday coverage required
Overtime available after 40 hours worked per week
No on-call requirements
