Position Overview
is seeking an experienced and certified Monitor Technician / Virtual Sitter for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac monitoring skills, the ability to work rotating shifts, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac monitoring skills, the ability to work rotating shifts, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and identify abnormalities
- Accurately interpret and document EKG rhythms
- Communicate significant rhythm changes promptly to clinical staff
- Provide virtual patient observation and support as assigned
- Maintain accurate patient records within the Cerner EMR system
- Collaborate effectively with nursing and interdisciplinary teams
- Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and compliance requirements
- Current active state license/certification required
- Must be certified as a Monitor Technician
- Successful completion of facility EKG exam during orientation
- Minimum of 4 years of recent Monitor Tech experience
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Guaranteed 32 hours per week
- Rotating shift schedule
- Holiday coverage required
- Overtime available after 40 hours worked per week
- No on-call requirements
- Level III Trauma Facility
- Mid-size acute care health system
- Collaborative clinical environment
- Located in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii
