HRIS ConsultantThe UT Knoxville Campus Human Resources office is looking for an HRIS Consultant who will support UTK Campus by troubleshooting DASH (Oracle HCM) problems and HR and payroll issues, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, auditing reports, and implementing process efficiencies. The HRIS Consultant will test system changes, develop training documentation and job aids, and communicate with HR partners and end users about upcoming changes.ResponsibilitiesDASH (Oracle HCM) Troubleshooting and Payroll SupportTroubleshoots and resolves HR processing and data issues through research, testing, and consultation with technical analysts at the UT System office.Manages off-cycle payroll requests serving as liaison between campus departments and the System Payroll officeResponds to requests and inquiries by campus partners in a caring, concise, and timely manner through phone, email, and messagingSupports payroll process by approving timecards, auditing missing timecards and pay checks, and communicating with campus departments and Payroll to resolve potential issuesDASH (Oracle HCM) System Testing and AuditingEnsures data accuracy and integrity; proactively identifies and correct problemsManages data security and privacy to ensure compliance with applicable regulationsPerforms quarterly upgrade testing to determine where changes are needed and ensure upgrades work as expected and communicate with system and campus partners when changes occur or there are deficienciesIdentifies and resolves issues by recommending and implementing solutions after upgradesTests system changes and new functionality to confirm roles and systems operate as expectedMaintains knowledge of HRIS industry standards, trends and best practices to recommend changes and improvements consistent with industry standardsIdentifies trends in data problems and recommends changes to processes to resolve ongoing data problemsSpecial Projects & Process ImprovementProvides system support and training to HR partners and end-users; identifies training needs and develops and delivers training as neededCreates DASH training materials and job aids for distributionManages special projects to ensure they are completed effectively and on timeSupports regular large-scale projects, i.e. performance review processes and merit processes, managing timelines and working with campus partners to complete processesIdentifies inefficiencies and recommends processes to address efficiency problemsCreates and implements innovative solutions to address system deficienciesInternal/External Customer SupportResponds to requests and inquiries by campus partners in a caring, concise, and timely manner through phone, email, and messagingCultivates relationships with HR partners to serve as a valued HR partner through ongoing effective communicationQualificationsRequired QualificationsEducationBusiness, Human Resources, Information Technology or related fieldExperience2 Years of HRIS ExperienceExperience with HR softwareExperience with process improvementAbility to create reportsStrong MS Excel skillsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent technical abilities and the ability to research and troubleshoot problemsAbility to maintain composure in complex high-pressure situationsAbility to work professionally and confidently with varying levels of the organizationAbility to work as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsExperienceExperience with OracleWork LocationLocation: KnoxvilleOnsite, Hybrid, or Remote: OnsiteCompensation and BenefitsUT market range: MRAnticipated hiring range: $58,000 - $63,000Find more information on the UT Market Range structure hereFind more information on UT Benefits hereApplication InstructionsTo express interest, please submit an application with the attachments noted below:ResumeCover Letter
